Hat Anatomy
Before diving into the Sizing & Fit Guide, take a moment to explore this map and get acquainted with the anatomy of a hat—the landscape you’re about to master.

Terms You Should Know
Crown- The top portion of the hat that sits above the brim. The crown’s height and shape play a big role in the hat’s overall style and how it balances with your face.
Crease- The crease is the indented shape molded into the crown. It gives the hat its personality—like a Cattleman, Gus, or Open Crown—and can be customized to match your style.
Brim- The wide band that extends outward from the base of the crown. The brim provides shade, protection, and style—ranging from flat and broad to sharply curved.
Front Dip-The slight curve or dip at the front of the brim that adds character and helps frame the face. Some dips are subtle, while others create a bold, dramatic profile.
Pinch/Dents- These are the hand-shaped indentations on the front of the crown, where you naturally grab the hat. They help define the crease and add both form and function to the design.
Roll/Edge- The roll or edge describes the way the brim curves or turns up along the sides. A tighter roll gives a traditional western look, while a flatter edge feels more modern or ranch-ready.
